St John’s Navalis is a celebration of St John of Nepomuk commemorating the 280th anniversary of the canonisation of this illustrious Czech patron. The celebration is jointly organized by Capital City Prague and Charles Bridge Museum under the auspices of Mayor Pavel Bém, and it will last from Friday (14.05) to Sunday. Apart from Friday’s water festivities, the event will
also include a mass that will be held at 6 PM on the same day, followed that a procession will wend its way from St Vitus Cathedral down to the sculpture of St John of Nepomuk on Charles Bridge.
