The history of Czech Republic: the Flag of Czech Republic are celebrating its 90th anniversary. The original flag was adopted on March 30, 1920. The flag contains red, white and blue colors: two equal horizontal bands of white (top) and red with a blue isosceles triangle based on the hoist side. The Czech flag doesn't really have any special meaning. The colors are Bohemian and Moravian traditional colors, which were inherited from various coats of arms. The author of the flag is Jaroslav Kursa (1875–1950), an archivist of the Department of Home Affairs.
