Astronomical Clock Old Town Hall (Orloj) celebrates 600 years of Prague's astronomical clock from 1410 to 2010. Astronomical Clock is one of the rarest and most famous sights. It is located on the Gothic tower of Old Town Hall located on Old Town Square. Astronomical Clock is a masterpiece of Czech Gothic art and a magnificent art monument. There are many tourists on the Old Town Square in Prague between 9.00 to 21.00 o'clock . Every hour everyone eagerly looks at two windows of the 12 Apostles statues.
All of Apostles has its attribute: St. Peter - the key, Matej - the axe, John - the chalice, Andrew and Philip - the cross, Jakub - the fuller, Paul - the book, Thomas - the pike, Simon - the saw, Thaddeus - plates, Bartholomew - skin and Barnabas - a scroll. |
