July 20 - August 10 2010: The 11th International Summer Festival of Early Music is the only festival fully devoted to medieval and Renaissance music in Prague and Central Bohemia. This summer no fewer than nine musical encounters will feature musicians from all over Europe, all them true masters of their instrument, able to play and sing with technical bravura as well as with profound commitment and humility. In the Hvězda Summer Pavilion, the Troja Chateau, at Brevnov Monastery, Convent of St. Agnes of Bohemia, or at the Martinic Palace, as the case may be, these musicians will transport us back to the age in which the first virtuoso performers were born.
