Vienna State Opera for all in September/October: Vienna’s leading opera stage will show 32 selected performances each - live on a screen on the square in front of the Opera House. They are free to watch. Viennese and guests in the city can enjoy these mild evening hours with classic pleasures for free - a few will surely take a liking to it and be inside the opera house the next time. Operas composed by the truly great composers are on the program: from Mozart, Richard Strauss, and Wagner to Puccini, Donizetti, Verdi and many others. Also be possible during European tours such as Prague Vienna Budapest, Prague and Vienna Highlights, Prague Vienna Munchen, etc. On Herbert-von-Karajan Square right next to the opera building along the Ringstrasse a 50 m² LED video screen will be installed. Performances will be shown with subtitles; 45 minutes before the film begins and during the intermissions information will be presented about that particular work, the cast, the Vienna State Opera, and the performances. 5. 9.
