Moravian Karst is one of the most important karst area of Central Europe. In the area of Moravian Karst, there are more than 1100 caverns and gorges. But only 4 caves of the all number are open to public. There are Punkvevní jeskyně (Punkva Caves) with their underground river – during the cruise you can see there the bottom of the famous Macocha Abyss. Another cave is Kateřinská jeskyně (Catherine’s Cave) with its unique limestone columns. The Balcarka Cave is full of colorful stalactitic decoration. Sloupsko-šošůvské jeskyně (Sloup-Šošůvka Caves) are made by huge corridors and underground gorges. Itinerary of the tour:
1st day: Meeting at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation. Prague City Tour . During Prague City Tour you will see Royal Palace, St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George Monastery and Golden Lane. A pleasant stroll through romantic Nerudova Lane will lead you to Lesser Town with its famous and marvelous palaces and medieval Charles Bridge ( Karluv Most). Then, all together, we come in Old Town Square surrounded by Old Town Hall with its famous Astronomical Clock, Tyn and St. Nicholas Churches. From Old Town Square, we continue our tour to Wenceslas Square with St. Wenceslas statue .We finish our tour on National Museum, in the heart of Prague.
2nd day: Breakfast . Transfer to Koneprusy Caves. Lunch. Tour to Karlstejn. Koneprusy Caves contain the largest system of caves to be found in Bohemia. They are situated near Karlstejn castle.Caves where discover in 1960. They are two kilometres long and more then seventy meters deep. A 600 meters are open to the public. This day we return back to Prague.
3rd day: Breakfast. Transfer to Moravian Kras . Accommodation in hotel. Excursion to famous Macocha Abyss and Catherine’s Cave. Returning back to the hotel. Meet your caving instructor in your hotel.
4th day: Breakfast. Meet you caving instractor and explore caves of Moravsky Kras.
5 день: Breakfast. Explore Býčí skála Cave and Rudicke propadani with your caving instructor.The cave is located in the central part of Moravian Karst, in Josefovské Valley (Josefovské údolí) between the town Adamov and village Křtiny. Together with the cave system Rudické propadání Býčí skála forms the second longest cave system in the country after the Amatérská Cave. Its known length is over 13 km.
6th day: Breakfast. Departure to Prague.
