Description: Castle Neuschwanstein - is made in a romantic style castle with a beautiful five-palace on the banks of Schwansee (Swan Lake). The castle was built in the late XIX century. Examination of magnificent royal chambers, throne room and other facilities castle. Castle Hohenschwangau standing on a medieval foundation XII century, was built by knights Shvangau. In the XIX century, during the Napoleonic wars the castle was badly damaged, but later restored in the neo-gothic style.
Neuschwanstein Castle is open daily except 1 January and 24 / 25 / 31 December.
Hohenschwangau Castle is open daily except December 24. Admission charges 2011:
Neuschwanstein Castle: 12 euros regular / 8 euros reduced
Hohenschwangau Castle: 10,50 euros regular / 8 euros reduced
Children and young people under 18 are free.
"King's ticket" for both Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwangau Castle on the same day: 21.50 euros regular / 15 euros reduced
Entrance tickets are available only at the Ticketcenter Hohenschwangau in the village of Hohenschwangau below the castle. Please buy your ticket before you set off to the castle!

April to September: 8 am - 5 pm
October to March: 9 am - 3 pm
Hohenschwangau Castle
April to September: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
October to March: 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
Children under 18 years of age is free (This does not apply to school groups for Hohenschwangau Castle).
Reservation fees apply for ticket reservations for Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein Castles:
