Description of the tour:
1st day: Arrival to Prague. Accommodation in Hotel. Prague City tour.
You will see Royal Palace, St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George Monastery and Golden Lane. A pleasant stroll through romantic Nerudova Lane will lead you to Lesser Town with its famous and marvelous palaces and medieval Charles Bridge ( Karluv Most). Then, all together, we come in Old Town Square surrounded by Old Town Hall with its famous Astronomical Clock, Tyn and St. Nicholas Churches. From Old Town Square, we continue our tour to Wenceslas Square with St. Wenceslas statue. We finish our tour on National Museum, in the heart of Prague. Overnight in Prague.
2nd day: Prague – Vienna by private bus. Check in.
On the way to Vienna,we will show you the beautiful countryside of South Bohemia
After you check in and have a lunch, we invite you for Vienna Grand City Tour. We drive you around Vienna’s Ringstrasse, a leafy boulevard around the heart of the city and the location of many impressive buildings, for example the State Opera House, the Hofburg (Imperial Palace), the Museums of Fine Arts and Natural History, the Parlament, the Burgtheater, the City Hall and the University. Our guide will show you the most interesting and famous places of Vienna. Overnight in Vienna.
3rd day: Half day tour in Vienna Woods (optional) .
A half-day excursion which shows you the most beautiful sights of the southern part of the Vienna Woods. Passing the Roman City of Baden which is famous for its thermal springs, we drive through the romantic valley Helenental to the former Mayerling hunting lodge, where Crown Prince Rudolph with Baronesse Vetsera died tragically in 1889. In the Cistercian Abbey of Heiligenkreuz (1133) you visit the medieval cloister which houses the remains of the last Babenberger. Then we arrive at the Seegrotte. After a boat ride on the largest subterranean lake in Europe you leave the Vienna Woods and return to Vienna. Overnight in Vienna.
4th day: Vienna – Budapest by bus. Check in. Budapest Grand City Tour.
After having a breakfast, we invite you to Budapest. Arrival and check in the hotel. At the second part of the day, we invite you for Budapest Grand City Tour. You will see the impressive neo-gotic house of Parliament. You cross the Danube on the Margaret-bridge (Margaret island) and drive to the Royal castle on the Buda side, where you visit the Fishermens' bastion and the Matthias church. After the Citadel you cross Elisabet -bridge and drive the City-park towards Heroes' sqare. Passing by the Opera and St Stephen's basilica. Overnight in Budapest.
5th day: Optional: Half day tour in Szentendre.
There is a small, but very famous baroque city at the gate of the Danube Bend, at the meeting place of the river Danube and the Pilis Hills, in a beautiful natural setting. With a 25-minute drive from Budapest, we reach this picturesque Artist's Village called Szentendre. We enjoy the special atmosphere of this village. We also stop at the Confectionery Museum. This tour includes the entrance tickets. Overnight in Budapest.
6th day: Back to Prague. Stop for lunch in Bratislava.
After you have breakfast, we go back to Prague. On the way to Prague, we will stop in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, for a lunch. Overnight in Prague.
7th day: Departure.
