The first place of our tour will be at the  Szekesfehervar which is  Hungarian town is located between Budapest and Lake Balaton and it’s one of the oldest towns of Hungary. In fact, in the Middle Ages it was a royal residence and one of the most important cities of Hungary. The name Székesfehérvár means “white castle with a chair”. Even though it’s a small town, there are quite a few things that make it worth visiting. After the short walk tour throuth the city we will visit to the Bory Castle. The castle was built by Jenő Bory (1879-1959), who was a sculptor and architect, a professor of sculpture at the College of Fine Arts and that of architecture at theTechnical University Budapest. He followed his own plans and imagination, and raised this special castle through 40 summers. It is a memory of his eternal love for his wife and his artistic dreams. He mainly worked alone relying on his own two hands and resorted to occasional help only a few times. He was a qualified architect, but instead of factual plans he followed his imagination and adapted to the topography of the land. The slowly growing walls, the shapes of the towers and the areas surrounded by them are all the result of the same artistic idea as the statues. This way, the Bory-castle is nothing else but a sculptural work of art with architectural forms and sizes.  He filled the castle with works of arts of contemporary artists, his wife Ilona Komócsin (1885-1974) and those of his own. An exhibition of sculptures and pictures can be seen in the studio gallery. In the Court of the Hundred Columns, under the archways, you can find plaster statues, the bronze or marble originals of which can still be found in different parts of the country. Behind, in the Chapel the sculpture symbolizing the eternal love of men for their wives is awaiting the visitors. Next we will visit to the place with the greatest historical significance on Lake Balaton is Tihany, a peninsula jutting 5km into the lake. Tihany village, perched on an 80m-high plateau along the peninsula’s eastern coast, is home to the celebrated Abbey Church. Visit the church, wandering around the tiny town that's filled with lovely thatched-roof houses. You can see Baroque church and convent of the Benedictine Abbey, Church ruins at Apati, Gallows hill, Pale hill, The church building and its neighbourhood, Echo hill, Calvary, Hermit's place,  Ancient fortification, Crypt of King Andrew I , Calvinist church, belfry, Next we will reach the Herend where you see sight of the special, stately building complex – accommodating the Porcelanium Visitor Centre – right from a distance. Since the year 1999 this has been the home of the Minimanufactory, where you can get an insight into the secrets of porcelain-making. If you would like to become a porcelain maker, even if just for a little time, take the raw porcelain paste or the painting brush into your hands, and the workshops will give your imagination free flight. The Porcelain Museum offers a permanent exhibition and temporary shows, renewed in every season, to highlight the history of the Manufactory. Coming back from the trip to porcelain world, you can take pleasure in the catering facilities offered by the Apicius Restaurant and Café. After we return to Budapest.
