The first stop of our tour will be at the pleasant city of Liège is located in the Ardennes. Here too, a lot of history has been preserved, making walking through the center a fun activity. Everywhere you will find elements that indicate the different centuries in which Liège developed. Cozy squares are surrounded by beautiful buildings with various museums scattered throughout the city. You will discover  Montagne van Bueren: a street with a 374-step staircase in the center of Liège, La Boverie: an art museum surrounded by a beautiful park, Place Saint Lambert: large square in Liège where, among other things, the Prince-Bishops’ Palace , The Royal Opera of Wallonia, Des Chiroux Library, the Princes-Bishop's Palace and various art museums such as the Grand Curtius Museum. The next stop we will make at the Cistercian abbey of Val Dieu which is a major site for pilgrimage and traditional Belgian beers in Belgium. The Abbey of Val Dieu which dates back to the 13th century is currently managed by the Communauté Chrétienne (Christian Community) of Val Dieu. The brewery, unique in Belgium, welcomes its guests inside the abbey. Inspired by the monks who used to brew here, the brewery makes beers refermented in the bottle. These are authentic Belgian Abbey Beers: no aromas, spices have been added and the traditional infusing method was followed. Like the monks before, the site brews beers with distinct characters and flavours: a Lager, a Dark beer, a Triple and a Grand Cru.Le Casse-Croute. The next place which we will visit is Verviers city of fountains. Located in the Ardennes, it has 21 different fountains, most of which are actually worth visiting. They all look beautiful and  have a special history.  Try to visit all the different fountains in the city, discover a few special churches  and  find various parks. There’s also plenty to discover in the city for museum lovers. Also you will see   Verviers Town Hall: the town hall built between 1775-1780 with a view of the Fontaine du Perron,   Maison de l’Eau: a former factory building where you can discover more about the water history of the city, Center Touristique Laine & Mode: a museum that tells the role of the textile industry in Verviers. The next stop of our tour will be in the city Spa which  known as the "original" spa, i.e. a place where tourists came in to enjoy the health and wellness benefits of water and hot springs in particular. The springs in Spa became so popular that the name became genericized to mean any such place. Apart from the mineral waters which was open in 14-th century, Spa also draws crowds several times a year when racing and other events are held at the nearby Spa-Francorchamps track. A  candidate for UNESCO World Heritage Site status, Spa is part of the European cultural itinerary of historic thermal towns alongside Bath or Vichy. Tsar Peter the first even stayed there in 1717: delighted by its stay, he brought back many wooden objects made in the region as well as the project to open a thermal centre in Russia. Spa’s main fountain was renamed Pouhon Pierre le Grand as a tribute to him. The last stop in this tour will at Abbey of Stavelot there you also will see the museum of the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, the famous venue of the Formula One Belgian Grand Prix. After we will return to Charleroi.
