Route: Granada - Castillo de Salobrena - caves of Nerja - Frigiliana - Nerja - Balcony of Europe - Granada

The first stop of our tour will be at Castillo de Salobrena where we visit to the castle . Castillo de Salobreña is the most important monument of Salobreña,it is known the existence of a fortress in Salobreña since the X century. Although the distribution corresponds to the construction that was built at Nasrid time, the Castillo de Salobreña is the result of the contribution of the Muslim and Christian architecture. Our next stop of our tour will be at the Las Cuevas de Nerja (the Caves of Nerja) are a series of naturally formed caves and caverns in the hills of Maro, 4km North-East of Nerja, some of which have taken up to two million years to form. The caves contain the widest naturally-formed column in the world, at 32m high and 13x7m at its base. Formed by the merging of a stalagmite and stalactite, it has held the Guinness World Record since 1989. After visit of the caves we will drive to the picturesque village of Frigiliana . Frigiliana is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful villages in Andalusia and it’s easy to see why. Situated at three hundred metres above sea level, the views from Frigiliana are truly spectacular. The white-washed houses of the village provide a stunning contrast with against the vibrant blue skies, painted doors and beautiful flowers in colourful plant pots. On a bright day the effect can be a little dazzling so remember to bring your sunglasses!The village is a maze of narrow, winding, cobbled streets which are best explored on foot. Frigiliana is built on a mountain side and these streets are steep. There’s a variety of shops, restaurants and tapas bars throughout the village. The old Moorish part of town is one of the best preserved Moorish villages in all of Andalucia. Keep an eye out for the twelve ceramic plaques that are situated throughout the old section of the village which tell the story of the Moorish uprising and the last battles that were fought in the area. After that we will drive to city Nerja which located on Tropical cost where we will visit to Balcón de Europa and Mirador del Bendito. The Balcón de Europa is in the centre of the village. From there, you can see the sea and some important beaches like Calahonda Beach and La Caletilla Beach. If the sky is clear, you won’t have any problem to see the African coast. Also you can essential to walk through the streets in the historic quarter, that dates back 1487. Nerja has a lot of streets with white houses and at Pintada Street there are so many shops, so buy a souvenir and remember your travel If you want to visit to the El Mirador del Bendito, you will have to walk through one of the oldest streets of Nerja, Carabeo Street. And if you have time, take the opportunity to swim in some of the most famous beaches of the village. After free time we will return to Granada.
