Approximately in 3 hours we will arrive to Franch city - Dijon. The historical city of Dijon was once called Divo during Roman times, on the route from Lyon to Paris it rapidly grew in importance. Rising from the Dark Ages, it became the home of the powerful Dukes of Burgundy who built the palace in the city center. With the centuries that passed by, impressive constructions were undertaken such as the Gothic church Notre Dame and the Tour de Philippe Le Bon. Now most to more half-timbered buildings than any other French city. Enjoy a two hour walking tour of the historic center of Dijon to see all the highlights the city has to offer, including the Palace of the dukes of Burgundy, and other Medieval buildings and houses, Renaissance façades, hidden courtyards, the covered market and the famous owl, the emblem of Dijon. After free time we will return to Lausanne.
