Route: Ljubljana - Bled - Vintgar Gorge - Kranjska Gora - Liznjek Homestead - Jasna Lake - Ljubljana

Our first stop will be at the Bled where you fill, that nowhere in the world is there a more lovely place, than this paradise and its surroundings. In this way the poet defines the glacial lake Bled, situated among mountains. The shore has been turned into a magnificient park with many villas and hotels. Today Bled is a modern and very popular holiday resort. From the medieval Castle of Bled on a 100m hill overlooking the lake you will have spectacular view over the area. On the island you will have a chance to make a wish in the St. Mary's Church by pulling a bell and taste local creamslice 'kremšnita' as well. Next we will visit to the Vintgar gorge which is 1600 m long and till 250 m deep gorge on the eastern part of Triglav National Park. Thereyou will discover the secrets and images of its immediate environs. You will be captivated by the pristine nature, and by the untamed Alpine beauty of the Radovna river, carving the depths of the gorge for thousands of years. The stunning views of the landscape opening up in front of you will delight you and magic up an unforgettable day. The entry and exit points have been separated. It is not possible to return through the gorge. This prevents close encounters at the narrow sections of the route. The entrance is at the log cabin in the village Podhom, and the exit at the Šum waterfall in Blejska Dobrava. Next wewill arrival to the resort Kranjska Gora. Be amazed by nature at its finest in Planica and explore historic buildings of Kranjska Gora . After arrival to the Kranjska Gora we vill visit the old farmhouse… …and you feel how the wealthy farmers lived in the second half of the 17th century. In the more than 300-year-old Liznjek House in Kranjska Gora, you can walk through the wooden house with black kitchen with bricks, a wide lobby and a small room. Climb up to the attic to two wooden bedrooms called “štibelc” and descend to the cellar called “čevder”. The house is characterised by paintings on the façade, a stone arched portal and wooden balcony called “gank”. Liznjek Homestead was built in the second half of the 17th century, with a lot of farm baroque characteristics from the 18th and the beginning of the 19th century. Its design was one of the most advanced types of architecture in Slovenia, and today it is seen mainly as a prototype of an authentic Slovenian Alpine house. Next we will have a nice walk to picturesque Jasna Lake and enjoy a cup of coffee with an amazing view over the Julian Alps. After free time we return to Ljubljana.
