Route: Lyon - Annecy - Pérouges - Lyon

From Lyon we will drive to two beautiful cities Annecy and Pérouges . Our first stop will be at Annecy, nicknammed "Venice of the Alps". Where you will discover of the old Annecy during city tour which will famouse you with the lake, the small churches, the Venician-style canals, the passageways, the castle. See the Palais de l'Isle, which was a prison in the 12th century and for something completely different, move on to cross the bridge of lovers and visit to the Old Town of Annecywhich is a lovely area full of quaint cafés and buildings. After lunch time , we will go to Pérouges, a charming and authentic medieval village. Built on a hill and situated not far from Lyon, Pérouges is a perfect example of a medieval town and is still an inhabited village. These charming streets were the place where craftmen and farmers enjoyed their communal freedom. The village has no rich relics but can boast of an unequalled unity with its houses. Conserved by a local association, it has attracted film producers who have used exterior shots in numerous French films, such as "The Three Musketeers". After the walking tour, we will end the day with a delicious "galette" tasting and some free time. After we will return to Lyon.
