The first stop of our tour will be at Castle Pierreclos, where you will know about this wine region and test local wine. A masterpiece of medieval architecture, in Southern Burgundy, brimming with its centuries of history, the Castle of Pierreclos opens its doors to you.  It is one of the most beautiful private historic buildings in Burgundy.  The function rooms are located inside the Château, with views overlooking the terraced gardens and the vineyards. It is in this charming Château that Anne-Françoise and Jean-Marie Pidault welcome you. The lovers of wine will listen to 1000 years of château history as you discover the buildings from the wine cellars to the watchtowers. after we will drive to Dijon. The historical city of Dijon was once called Divo during Roman times, on the route from Lyon to Paris it rapidly grew in importance. Rising from the Dark Ages, it became the home of the powerful Dukes of Burgundy who built the palace in the city center. With the centuries that passed by, impressive constructions were undertaken such as the Gothic church Notre Dame and the Tour de Philippe Le Bon. Now most to more half-timbered buildings than any other French city.  Enjoy a two hour walking tour of the historic center of Dijon to see all the highlights the city has to offer, including the Palace of the dukes of Burgundy, and other Medieval buildings and houses, Renaissance façades, hidden courtyards, the covered market and the famous owl, the emblem of Dijon. After we will return to Lyon.
