Firstly we will visit to Brescia which is called the Lioness of Italy is one of the most important cities in Italy which it is full of history and in northern Italy Brescia is the only one place where we can still admire and study ruins of the Age of the Roman Empire. The architectural and urban planning wonderfully combines monuments, buildings and squares built over the centuries, allowing non-stop time travel backwards and forwards. Some of the local artists, who contributed to the splendour of this town, feature among the greatest in Italian art history. During the tour you will be surprised to get down under the surface of the road to enter to a special chamber with controlled air pressure to keep safe the mosaics in this environment that were made during the 1st century. Also you will see one of the most famous temple in Brescia of the Age of the Roman Empire is the Forum called "the Capitolum". Next we will visit to Berlucchi winery which is the pioneering winery of Franciacorta wine. Nestled in the foothills of Alps, is the wine area of Franciacorta. It is here, that in 1955 Berlucchi paved the first stones to transforming a local wine heritage into the seat of Italy’s finest sparkling wines, that are beloved the world over. The historic winecellars date back to 1680 and they were built to host the still wines. Their remarkable fascination consists in stone walls, in the wooden riddling racks (pupitre) that hold the Franciacorta Riserva bottles for the remuage procedure, but especially in the small, private alcove that guards a true cult bottle. This is the last bottle of the 1961 vintage, exemplar and witness to an idea that changed the winemaking destiny of the Franciacorta growing area. You'll have the chance to visit the winery and discover the history of how Franciacorta sparkling wine was invented . At the end of the tour, 2 glasses of Berlucchi Franciacorta will be included. After we return to Milan.
