During the tour we will visit to three museums Vasa Museum, Skansen Museum and ABBA Museum. Our first visit will be at Vasa Museum where is the only preserved seventeenth-century ship in the world, and a unique art treasure. More than 95 percent of the ship is original, and it is decorated with hundreds of carved sculptures. The 69 meter-long warship Vasa sank on its maiden voyage in the middle of Stockholm in 1628, and was salvaged 333 years later in 1961. For nearly half a century the ship has been slowly, deliberately and painstakingly restored to a state approaching its original glory. The three masts on the roof outside the specially built museum show the height of the ship’s original masts. There are ten different exhibitions around the ship that tell about life on board the ship. Our next visit will be at Skansen which is the oldest open-air museum in the world and also the Stockholm zoo, with native Scandinavian animals. Skansen is beautifully located on Royal Djurgården and sports spectacular views over all of Stockholm.This is also a Sweden in miniature. It was founded in 1891. Travel back in time and touch the past in the form of historic houses and gardens, where traditional pastimes are still conducted. 150 farms and dwellings from different parts of the country were disassembled and transported here. After we will go to ABBA Museum and enjoy an out-of-the-ordinary experience. See costumes belonging to the 4 group members, along with gold records, original items, memorabilia and much more. At this museum you are an important part of the experience, so by the end you will end up feeling like the 5th member of the band. Discover what you look like in their legendary stage costumes, and sing at the legendary Polar Studio, formed by ABBA musicians Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson. Experience the exciting 3D avatars and enter the stage with the band. Your material will be recorded on the personal ID number on your ticket.
