Firstly we will visit to Opusztaszer which is the cradle of the state of Hungary. Through its history, it strengthens the nation, and gives hope to future generations. According to Hungarian tradition, it was at this place, around 896 AD that Chief Árpád, the Duke of the Magyars and his chieftains (his leading men) pitched up their tents, and codified the common laws of their new country. Thus, today’s Heritage Park is far more than a tourist attraction: it is the place where all Hungarians (Magyars) can turn to in order to strengthen their national identity, to remember and preserve their history, culture, and traditions. The National Heritage Park is an open-air ethnographic museum, a skanzen and excursion site. Its best-known exhibition is a panorama painting titled The arrival of the Hungarians in the Rotunda. In making the 120 meter long, 15 meter high panoramic scene with a 38 meter diameter, Árpád Feszty was assisted by several painters for two years, from 1892 to 1894. Collection has 19 building complexes and three open-air exhibitions. The buildings represent the different regions of the country, you can observe the life of the 19th century villages and farmsteads, the various crafts, see the school, the post office, the grocery store, the windmill, the narrow-gauge railway, the bakery. Here you can also see a collection of carts and a collection of agricultural machines. The larch pavilion resembling a yurt houses the Forest and Man exhibition, presenting the relationship between forest, trees and man. The nomadic park evokes the world of Eurasian steppes, with yurt and winter accommodations, horse shows. The Water Exhibition commemorates rafting, wood processing, shipbuilding and fishing. With the help of a model, we can witness the great flood of 1879 in Szeged. Next we will visit to  Bugac which is one of the best known Hungarian plains, the largest area of the Kiskunság National Park and still today has an important place in the indigenous Hungarian domestic livestock. There we will look a popular Horse Show. The show place can be reached either on foot or by carriages, which leave from the Karikás Csárda. You will see the endless Hungarian Puszta open in front of our eyes, with its unique flora and fauna. You will also see the traditional pastoral structures (reed huts, a milk processing cottage) and you can experience the unique atmosphere of Bugac. During the show you will see the Stud Presentation, Horse herders procession, The show of the Puszta Five.  Skill show bythehorsemen: Horselaying and sitting, Puszta armchair, Test of strengths, Sitting down at the table, Cracking the whip, Mother-in-law beating and horsemen competitions. A show by Anti the donkey Bugac stud galloping.  Also you can experience the life of thehorsemen ( sit on the horses’ back or  crack the whip) After the program we will return to the Karikás Csarda where you can choose traditional Hungarian dishes from a constantly evolving menu. After  we will return to Szeged.
