Our first stop in this tour will be at Ferrara, a beautiful Renaissance city and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a step back in time to learn about this unique city through the ages and discover its most important sites! We'll start in the heart of the city to start our guided visit around the beautiful city of Ferrara. First, we will walk to Cathedral Square, where we will admire some of the most important monuments of the city, such as the spectacular Cathedral of Saint George the Martyr (San Giorgio Martire) and the City Hall. You will hear more about the history of the city and the House of Este, one of the most influential families in Ferrara during the Middle Ages. Continuing with the medieval theme, we will head into the historic quarter of the city by walking along the Via delle Volte, one of the most picturesque and famous streets of Ferrara. Passing under the beautiful ancient arches we will arrive at the treasure of Ferrara: Este Castle. Here, you will gaze in wonder at the majestic architecture of this fort and its moat, which have been conserved exactly as they were centuries ago. Later, we will continue by walking to the Palazzo dei Diamanti (Palace of Diamonds). Next we will visit to Bologna where we explore all of the most important sights and attractions in town, as well as discovering its peculiar, lively and fully authentic Italian lifestyle. From Main Square, elegant heart and historic cradle of the town, we will walk across the ancient, medieval alleys of Bologna up until reaching the Two Towers, truest symbol of the town, St. Stephen Basilica, ancient Jewish Ghetto area and the Canals. Next we will stop at Renaissance God Neptune Fountain, Main Square,  St. Petronius Basilica, Renaissance Archiginnasio Palace, Santuario di Santa Maria della Vita, ancient medieval market area, City Hall Palace, Mercanzia Palace, St. Stephen Basilica, ancient Jewish Ghetto area, St. Cecilia Chapel, world-famous University , Canals and will see more. As our last stop, we will reach the stunning ‘Little Venice’ area, the only area in town where still visible are the canals having been marking the story of Bologna. After free time we return to Venice.
