Firstly we will visit to Ermita de La Virgen de la Pena. Created by man and born out of legend, this Sanctuary will leave no-one indifferent… whether its own people, who live nearby but are unaware of its roots of stone, or strangers who have never heard anyone mention it. Rest inside in silence, observe the living art that surrounds us and speaks to us with silent expressions, listen to the murmur of past pilgrims… feel the gaze of the images on their pedestals and tell them something about the path that you are on. Enjoy the mystery of time passing through the centuries and, right now, feel a part of this moment and become a part of its history. Our next stop will be at Broto, right among the Pyrenees. where we will visit to Cascada del Sorrosal which is one of the most charming and known cascade waterfall in the Aragonese Pyrenees.  After we will drive to Torla-Ordesa, the pre-eminent gateway to the Parque Nacional de Ordesa y Monte Perdido, Torla is a lovely alpine-style village of slate-roofed stone houses. The setting is delightful, with the village houses clustered above Río Ara and the national park's mountains forming an awe-inspiring backdrop. The place name derives from the word torre, or tower, in reference to the building that once stood there in the 15th century to defend the territory from the French. This ancient fortification was located on the site where we now find the beautiful church of San Salvador, with its Romanesque style. Enjoy a stroll through the historic old quarter and admire the various examples of traditional High Aragonese architecture. One highlight is the Casón de los Viu, an old palace built in the 14th century. The church of San Salvador dominates the surroundings, with its beautiful Romanesque portal. You’ll also want to head over to Plaza Mayor, the heart of social life in Torla and home to a building dating back to the 13th century. The town has managed to preserve traditions such as its carnival, the traditional jota dance, which is a little slower than the Aragonese version, the paloteao, in which dancers portray the struggles for the control of the high mountain pastures, and the Rapatán dance, which represents the collection of cattle every winter. Our last stop will be at Lanuza, which is a charming, and tiny, village was relocated and reconstructed by its inhabitants after the creation of the reservoir that bears its name. Walk around its streets and admire the linteled porticoes bearing coats of arms that were carved over two centuries ago. Don’t miss the chance to eat a meal in ‘El Frondón’, a restaurant that offers some delicious traditional dishes. After we will return to Zaragoza.
