Our tour we will start from visit to Farmhouse Museum of the district Erding which was founded in 1986 . It presents mostly 18th and 19th century buildings and furnishings illustrating rural life and work in the Erding area. 15 farm or trade buildings have been re-erected on an area of 2 hectares around a house with adjoining stable from Rindbach. This building, together with the Rindbach granary, the Schedenberg oven, the Stetten barn and the farm garden, have been arranged to form a typical 19th century farm complex. The two-storeyed granary from Niederneuching dates back to 1581 and is significant not only in the region. A small exhibition in this granary presents the individual chores in a farm year from sowing to harvesting. here is a farmer's market in the museum each Friday, where farmers from the district of Erding sell their home-grown produce. The historical bowling alley from Langengeisling (1886) is very popular among visitors. Next we will visit to the world's largest wheat beer Brewery Erdinger where tradition and progress go hand in hand. Today, beer connoisseurs in Germany and around the world regard this traditional specialty beers from Erding, as the ultimate in wheat beer enjoyment. The beginnings of ERDINGER Weissbräu date back to 1886, the year in which construction of a wheat beer brewery in Erding was first officially recorded. Today, ERDINGER weissbier stands for wheat beer enjoyment and the Bavarian brewing tradition. The traditional brewery has established itself as the national and international market leader for weissbier. As one of Germany's largest private breweries, ERDINGER Weissbräu is among the leaders on the national German beer market. The visit at the ERDINGER Weissbier brewery means "bayerische Lebensfreude" (Bavarian joy of life). During the visit you can tast some kinde of beer. Next we will continue our tour to the small  city Freising with a cathedral and the Weihenstephaner brewery which is the oldest continuously operating brewery in the world. In 725, Saint Corbinian and twelve companions founded a Benedictine monastery on the Nährberg by Freising establishing, whether it was their intention or not, the art of brewing in Weihenstephan. After all, in the Middle Ages, wherever there were monasteries, there was brewing. Up to 1040, the Weihenstephan monks brewed in competition with Freising locals. In the same year, Abbot Arnold managed to snatch the right to brew and sell beer away from the neighbours. Today the Weihenstephan Monastery Brewery - after nearly a thousand years - still stands upon the Weihenstephan Hill, proud of its quality and its tradition and conscious of its position as the oldest existing brewery in the world. Enjoy an exciting journey through time to the origin of beer and learn more about the history of the Bavarian State Brewery Weihenstephan. There we will take the brewery tour where  take a look behind the scenes during a guided tour – from the creation of the beer to the fun part! The tour will start with a visit of the brewery museum ”To the Origin of Beer“. There, you will enjoy a tour through the nearly 1000 years of history of the Bavarian State Brewery of Weihenstephan before continuing to the “sacred territory” - the art of brewing. Complete your tour by participating in a beer-tasting session from a 0,1l wheat beer glass which you are welcome to take home as a souvenir. After we return to Munich.
