Our winery tour to Burgundy we will start from visit to Auxerre which has a prestigious cultural heritage, the legacy of its Gallo-Roman, medieval, gastronomic and winegrowing history! A City of Art and History, filled with many half-timbered houses that add to its charm and where during the visit you can see the Benedictine Abbey of St. Germain, founded in the 5th century. the 12th-century chapterhouse, the 14th-century cellar, the 17th-century cloister and the 12th-century St. John Tower with its beautiful stone spire, the Gothic Cathedral of St. Stephen, built from the 13th to the 16th century. In its 11th-century Romanesque crypt, you will be able to admire the famous and magnificent fresco of Christ on horseback, the Clock Tower, built in the 15th century on the remains of an old Gallo-Roman castrum,  the Churches of St. Peter and St. Eusebius. Thw next stop will be at Chablis and North Burgundy where our Wine Tour will start is the perfect way to discover the rich wine heritage of France, the beautiful countryside around Paris and learn more about french history, monks and Templar Knights. Get ready to discover, learn and taste Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Chablis, Crémant de Bourgogne (sparkling wine) and lot more all day long. Visit the lovely Chablis village, discover cellars built by monks. Meet wine producers, discover the wine-making process and taste at least 10 amazing wines from white, sparkling to red wines etc. The first tasting will take place in a famous Chablis producer, where you will visit the caves, see the fermenting tanks, barrels, old vintage bottles and finish with various wine tastings. The second tastings will be made during lunch pairing French gastronomy in the vines. After your lunch break, your sommelier will drive you through the classified vineyard area till you reach another Burgundy appellation famous for its great Pinot Noir wines. Last but not least, the last tasting of the tour will take place in an historic wine cave from the 11th-century built by monks. The last short stop will be at the medieval town of Noyers which has kept many reminders of the Middle Ages: old side streets lined with typical houses, small town squares with picturesque names, three fortified doors and ramparts flanked by towers. One of the oldest houses in Noyers-sur-Serein is now the town hall: its foundations date back to the 12th century and  Gothic Church of Our Lady . After we will return to Paris.
