During this tour you will see the very interesting places like Madara Horseman, monument in Shumen and Zheravna. Our first stop is rock near the village of Madara The Madara Rider or Madara Horseman is an early medieval large rock relief carved on the Madara Plateau east of Shumen in northeastern Bulgaria. The monument is dated in the very late 7th,[2] or more often very early 8th century, during the reign of Bulgar Khan Tervel. In 1979 became enlisted on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Our second stop on our tour will be at the monument in Shumen. The Monument to 1300 Years of Bulgaria in Shumen, also known as the Founders of the Bulgarian State Monument is a large monument built on a plateau above the city of Shumen, Bulgaria. It was built in 1981 to commemorate the 1300th anniversary of the First Bulgarian Empire. The monument in Shumen is built in concrete in a Cubist style, and designed by Bulgarian sculptors Krum Damyanov and Ivan Slavov. It stands at a height of 450 m above sea level and can be seen from 30 km away. Our last stop on our tour will be at Rock-hewn Churches of Ivanovo. The Rock-hewn Churches of Ivanovo are a group of monolithic churches, chapels and monasteries hewn out of solid rock and completely different from other monastery complexes in Bulgaria, located near the village of Ivanovo, 20 km south of Rousse, on the high rocky banks of the Rusenski Lom, 32 m above the river. The complex is noted for its beautiful and well-preserved medieval frescoes. The churches are inside Rusenski Lom Nature Park. After we will back to Varna.
